Step objectives
At the end of this step your team will have reviewed the samples taken during step 6 with the auditee and confirmed or unconfirmed the potential risks and exceptions that were identified previously. At this point, you will want to start thinking about how we can quantify any issues that are confirmed by using the data.

- Review the completed workpapers from the fieldwork
- Brainstorm with the data analytics team how any audit issues could be quantified on the full data set
Tasks to do before the meeting
1/ Ensure that your team has completed the columns “Supporting documentation” and “Auditee comments” in the workpaper for all of the samples and for each data analytics test.
2/ Based on the auditee comments, brainstorm ways that you think we could quantify any audit issues. For example, if there are 4 out of 15 duplicate payment samples that are confirmed as real cases, how could we estimate the total value of duplicate payments in the data? What filters would we have to use to avoid false positives?
